“ I visited this restaurant on again this past Monday and tried the ox born soup. It was delicious and tasted very homemade and authentic. The side dishes were great too. The waitresses were super kind and attentive, I will definitely be coming back! ”
“ This place has been in my radar, I finally visited with my family. At first sight, looks very small, and maybe even questionable, but.. you know what they say, never judge a book by its cover. Located in a semi hidden location surrounded by larger businesses and Target, easily could be missed. There is plenty of parking in front and in the surrounding area. I read plenty of reviews about the bad costumer service, we did not experience that at all. We were seated, greeted and give menus almost immediately. Came in as a large party and we were treated like everyone else. The food was good, it came our pipping hot and freshly made. My favorite Korean dish is Bibimbap, very simple nothing crazy but the crispy rice is my absolute favorite. My food was so hot that I had to wait a few minutes to eat, which was perfect because I was able to try all the fixing first. I then was too excited that it cooled I forgot to take a picture before eating.. ha. Overall we all had a great experience and enjoyed coming here. ”
“ The food is so fresh and delicious here and the staff is so kind sweet and accommodating. I'm so lucky to live so close that I can enjoy kimchi stew anytime:) ”
“ Came for Christmas dinner. Smallish restaurant with not too many tables. The ladies were super friendly and kind (even though they were working on Christmas) and I experienced some of the best service ever. Their gamjatang is great!!! ”
“ This is my go to place in the north Orange County area. We've eaten here many times, but their to go package is so good that we prefer to do that as we like to let other people use their facilities. I love their bossam, it is soooooooo ffffffffantaatically good! My wife loves their sullungtang, which is pretty good, but my go to is the bossam, oh and their k-pancake is also super solid. ”
“ This is a cozy, local, authentic Korean restaurant is a go-to for me to get tofu soup. It's located in an unassuming plaza but don't be intimidated! It tends to be busiest around lunch and dinner time. It is the most affordable and delicious in the area, in my opinion. I paid $16 for a beef tofu soup, which came with all the sides necessary, which even includes a green onion pancake. The service is always fast and friendly. ”
“ Seems to be a very authentic Korean restaurant! I ordered the kimchi soup and the flavors were very deep and pronounced. I loved it! The veggies that came with the ssambap also looked very fresh and I loved the variety. The staff are also very friendly. There is a parking lot as well so no need to worry about parking. Overall, I would recommend if you are looking for some traditional Korean dishes! ”
“ Arrived around 6pm and tables started filling. We got the Galbi+nangmyeon combo and yukdaejang. They brought out a complimentary carrot and onion pancake and sides came out soon after. Portions were decent and food was delicious. Side dishes are refillable and are authentic! Definitely making this my go-to spot, can't beat the $13-$15 ALL-DAY SPECIALS! ”
“ We were craving "soup" during a chilly winter night. Yelp suggested a nearby Korean Tofu Soup. The Da Rae BBQ Restaurant is not well lite in the late hours. The small restaurant is located behind another Japanese restaurant and wedge between car wash express. The restaurant is very cramped and establishment hasn't be updated for some time so looks outdated. There are approximately 8 tables accommodating small family or groups. Being 1.5 hours before closing, we were quickly seated, orders taken and food came out fairly soon. The only complaint was two items were missed and we had to remind the owner. Ironically, those were "bbq" items. haha! The banchans (complementary side dishes) were good. The kimchi and cucumbers were the best. We ordered a side of japchae (cold glass noodles) and it was disappointing. The tofu combo soup is delicious and flavorful. There are option for spice level so amp it up if you can handle the heat. Overall, the service is good. The owner is very cordial. I will certainly return to support this mom and pop shop. ”
